This is the meeting place for OBEW members. It's a cosy, friendly freehouse run and owned by Mr & Mrs James Outterside.

The Bridge End is right next to the Pack Horse Bridge which straddles Whittle Burn. The Burn empties into the River Tyne just 200m away.
